These two related series revisit a compositional theme that continues to surface throughout my work: plant-like forms rising from a dark, organic base rooted in the lower half of the painting. I'm drawn to the symbolism of growth, resilience, and movement—ideas that reflect transformation and the ability of art to elevate, surprise, and inspire. The vibrant Candy Plant works are playful and exuberant, while the Olive and Earth pieces feel more grounded and contemplative. Though their palettes and moods differ, both series share an underlying optimism and suggest endless possibilities.
