I tend to create my work first and look for meaning after. In this way the thoughts, or over-thinking, won’t get in the way. Instead, as I create the pieces, the idea of their meaning starts to develop, then I continue to move in that direction. Hopefully then, the ideas and image solidifies in what ends up being the final work.
