It was a strange and interesting time. COVID quarantine seemed to last forever. I remember that March 2020, I think it was March 12th in fact, My birthday was March 8th and the world shut down a few days later. During that strange and eerie time, I spent many nights in the studio. There was really nothing else to do, so my Friday night activity was art making. I experimented a lot with spray paint and other mediums and came away with a few interesting collections, including my “What is Love” works and the piece shown here.
I also experimented a lot with the 6ft apart rule that we all were living with, remember that? I sometimes miss the solitary quietness of those months alone. I think I have a strange fondness of those times, times that I hope we do not see again.
