With a background in branding and graphic design, I naturally approach new work as a kind of branded collection. Consistency in size, color, tone, and materials creates a cohesive visual language across each series. As these pieces evolved, the postage stamp motif emerged organically and became a unifying element.
With something of a pop art sensibility, they could almost function as posters for a concert series or package design. I'm always drawn to bold typography and cohesive, sequential design—I suppose I can't separate my love of graphic design from my art practice.
