About This Exhibition

Curated by Scotto Mycklebust, Made in Chelsea exhibited a Group of 10 local West Chelsea Artists, featuring over 60 works. The Made in Chelsea exhibit was comprised of traditional paintings on canvas, photo-based Sterographic-Twist photography, digital painting and collage. Also included was an interactive web-based multi-media work.

 

What is commonly shared by this group of West Chelsea artists is the intense inspiration by their vibrant surroundings: their studios are creative sanctuaries nestled above the multitude of contemporary galleries that operate in their very neighborhood, along with the renowned High Line snaking through some of the most ground breaking contemporary architecture on earth. This exhibition is an opportunity to view, support and purchase artworks made right here in Chelsea those who live and create here.
