About This Exhibition

The Body Language is organized and curated by Luca Curci, in collaboration with Valorizzazioni Culturali | Art-Events at Misericordia Archives. The Body Language analyzes the hidden parts of our identities, through an immersive experience inside the fascinating universe of the complex labrynths of our consciousnes. The human body is a changing system that connects us with other bodies and spaces to perceive the surrounding reality; a strong communication system with its own language and infinite ways of expression. The exhibition will open during the Venice Carnival .

The Misericordia Archives, located in the Scuola Grande della Misericordia area, is adjacent to the Misericordia Abbey Church. Closed in 1868, the deconsacrated church is now a multi-functional event space. The archives were recently restored and renewed with modern amenities, while maintaining the original character of the space.
